Kent
Conveniently located between Seattle and Tacoma, Kent is the third largest city in King County and the second oldest. Kent is home to the Showare Center, a multi-use events center that hosts concerts and other live events and is the home of the Seattle Thunderbirds hockey team, the Tacoma Stars of the Major Arena Soccer League, and the Seattle Mist of the Legends Football league. Touring shows like the Harlem Globetrotters and Disney on Ice also make stops at the Showare Center. In the heart of downtown, Kent Station is an open-air center for shopping, dining, relaxing and seeing movies. Kent Station also holds events throughout the year like Halloween trick or treating, Easter egg hunts, summer concerts, and pictures with Santa during the holidays. Kent residents love to get outdoors, taking in the views of Mt. Rainier from one of our many parks, biking along the valley trails, and bird watching at the Green River Natural Resources Area.
